About CWG
CWG is an non-defined community of people who are on a journey of letting go. Letting go of identities formerly defined by title, popularity, addiction, wealth, poverty, celebrity, or religiosity only to become suffocated by it's mask. A people who honor their life's questions that put old habitual, unhelpful ways of living and thinking at risk. It is for anyone who sees themselves on a journey of awkward authenticity and the joy of seeing the symbol of Spirit the way the Celtic Christians did; The wild untamed mystery we've called God. The Divine Other who is present in every person without caveat.
The Community of the Wild Goose is a place to gather but nothing to join.

CWG HISTORY
While serving as Spiritual Director at Calvary Healing Center, Henry Rojas met John L. A beloved patient and relentless seeker of truth. Raised Christian in a family of clergy, John used heroin to run from his fear of displeasing God and the consequences he believed would befall his every relapse. John and Henry read together "Accidental Saints " by Nadia Bolz-Weber. There he found freedom. Henry's teachings on intrinsic belonging and an all inclusive grace resonated through Nadia's book and unabashed church called House for all Sinners's and Saints John pleaded with Henry to start a gathering for people just like himself in Phoenix. In 2013 the first gathering of the Wild Goose was held in all of it's awkward, improvisational sacredness. Sadly John passed away before the first gathering. His kindness, fervor and joy lives on at the CWG that he inspired. Hundreds have found hope and sustained recovery from his seeking of sacred belonging and the birth of a welcoming place and resource called the Community of the Wild Goose.
The Largest Mega Church!
We believe we are the largest mega church in the world because ALL belong. Beyond belief or geographic distance. To experience this life is to experience the mystery we've called God. To be awakened to ones intrinsic belonging is awareness. Practicing conscious contact with this awareness of belonging and connection is awareness. To be more consciously connected is to know that there is something beyond myself that desires connection with me. At the core is love and it is giving itself to us in every moment.
